Student Work Examples

I believe that not all student assessments should be the traditional paper and pencil test.  Many times I can tell so much more about what a student has learned and what they understand through creative projects.  This page is loaded with examples of student work.  These examples range from 5th grade through 8th grade.  Please click on any of the images or videos to view the creativity.

Student HIT Books "Historian's In Training"

Over the course of 8th grade students create HIT Books or Historians in Training books.  Students add into their books the highlights of their learning.  At the end of the year these HIT Books are published globally on iTunes for the world to enjoy. To date, I have published over 400 books of my students work making them all published authors.
